Jaye works with a variety of breeds Springer Spaniels, German Shepherds, Labradors, Malinois Shepherds so there is no dog to big or small for Jaye to work with.


Jaye also has a large amount of experience in training domestic dogs utilising the same skills to solve everyday issues that occur in the domestic dog world. This includes, unwanted jumping, unwanted barking, fear and anxiety disorders, separation anxiety, dog aggression and leash pulling.


Jaye is Combination Trainer and has a complex understanding of Operant Conditioning Techniques such as positive reinforcement (positive only training) used to teach your dog new commands or Obedience such as Sit, Down, Place and a Bullet Proof Recall, which is what every dog owner needs.


Jaye uses Marker/ Clicker, Luring and Shaping training methodologies to teach dogs new behaviours in a positive only way. This is a fair and clear way every dog new wanted behaviours and helps pet owner and dog develop a clear and effective communication system.


Trainer Jaye can teach and provide guidance on how to use correction techniques to cease unwanted behaviours that are causing the dog harm or causing the owner to become stressed. These unwanted behaviours include, unwanted barking, dog aggression, uncontrollable leash pulling, extreme anxiety, fence running or climbing and environmental issues. Jaye can tailor a training package to suit each dog and family depending on your needs and preferred training type.


A combination of both Positive Reinforcement Training and Correction Training Techniques is proven to be a great option providing the owner with a clear and effective communication system. Dog training is a science and Jaye will educate you and your family on why dog’s do certain behaviours and how to fix or reward them.   



Jaye has a special interest in dealing with complex issues anxiety issues in dogs. No matter how large or small the anxiety issues is Jaye believes that she can help give your dog have a better life and overcome anxiety issues that affect the dog’s life and causes the owner stress.


There is nothing worse for a pet owner then watching their fur baby suffer to go out of the house, scared of going for a walk, fear of the vet or simply not being able to be left at home. This is a very common issue especially after covid19 as dogs become use to their owner being at home 24/7.


Jaye is highly skilled in aversion training for life threatening behaviours shown by your dog. Does your dog chase cars, eat or chase Kane Toads, Chase possums, have extreme dog aggression resulting in dog fights? Jaye can also assist with these issues especially if the dog has council complaints or had an unplanned emergency trip to the vet.

Jaye has been training dogs for over 10 years and is the Head Trainer and Instructor for a large Government Organisation. Jaye’s job is to train and assess Service Dog Handlers and Service Dogs, in Obedience and Detection Capabilities.


Jaye has also raised over 20 Service Dog Puppies which have all gone on to be exceptional Service Working Dogs.

  • Selected as a judge for International Detection Dog Trials hosted in New Zealand in 2017.

With 10 years' dog training experience and five years as a qualified service dog handler, Matt from Your Dog Coach has the skills and passion required to manage the behavioural issues other trainers have failed to fix. 

Matt has trained dogs of all different shapes and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, and possesses the ability to fix problems other trainers have failed to rectify. 

 

In his professional life, Matt has brought up several puppies to become successful service dogs. He also has a passion for residential dog training, and for helping your furry family member to become well mannered, calm, obedient and non-aggressive, with the ability to listen on command.

Matt has been involved in numerous high-risk situations, tactically using his assigned service dog to resolve a situation.

 

He believes that “one size (or method) doesn’t fix all”, and has a range of tools, tips, and tricks at his disposal to solve the most challenging pooch problem. 


Using a tailored approach, Matt will assess you dog’s behaviour in your home environment and create an individualised program to reduce the problematic behaviours causing you stress, helping to build a strong and lasting partnership between you and your furry friend.
